Installation

Installation is smooth on all platforms. On Windows, Linux and OS X, the server part of GoToDevice is automatically launched during installation, requiring no further user interaction.

Windows • GoToDevice is installed using standard MSI files. Company wide installation can be easily achieved using Windows Group Policy or SMS.

Linux • GoToDevice is installed using .deb or .rpm files, depending on the distribution. Alternatively .tar files can be used for manual installation.

Mac OS X • On Apple computers GoToDevice is installed using .dmg files.

Pocket PC / Windows CE • Active Sync is used to install on the Pocket PC device.
